A Bright Room Called Day Play by Tony Kushner (Farsi)

Açıklama

A Bright Room Called Day by Tony Kushner is set during the final turbulent years of the Weimar Republic, as democracy in Germany begins to collapse under the rising force of Nazism. The play centers on Agnes Eggling, a middle-aged actress living in a large Berlin apartment, where artists and intellectuals gather on New Year’s Eve, clinging to fragile optimism. As the National Socialist movement gains momentum, fear and political paralysis infiltrate their conversations and relationships. Blending historical drama with contemporary political commentary, Kushner examines moral complacency, ideological blindness, and the responsibility of artists and citizens in the face of encroaching fascism.
