A Selection of Melodies for Santoor by Hani Golpayegani

Açıklama

This book, "A Selection of Melodies for Santoor by Hani Golpayegani," is a collection of memorable and evocative tunes arranged for the santoor, a traditional Persian instrument. The melodies are categorized into three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced, and are arranged in the primary tuning of the santoor (Shur tuning). This allows for practical use from the early stages of learning the instrument. In addition to incorporating traditional santoor techniques such as tremolo (repeated rapid notes), trill, and rest, the book also utilizes chords and arpeggios in the arrangement of some pieces. To facilitate the learning process, the first section includes arpeggio exercises for playing simple compositions, while the second section provides several arpeggio exercises for intermediate-level pieces.
