Au Monde Play by Joël Pommerat (Farsi)

Açıklama

Au Monde by Joël Pommerat is an atmospheric and introspective play that explores themes of identity, family legacy, and the weight of unspoken expectations. Set in a wealthy, influential family, the story revolves around a patriarch preparing to pass on his empire to his children, each of whom struggles with their own desires, uncertainties, and roles within the family. The play unfolds in a subdued, almost dreamlike manner, where silences and gestures carry as much meaning as the sparse, carefully crafted dialogue. Pommerat’s signature minimalist style enhances the tension, creating an eerie and melancholic tone that lingers throughout. The characters, caught between tradition and personal aspirations, navigate an emotional landscape filled with suppressed conflicts and existential questioning.
