Black as the depths of my own Africa is the title of a collection of poems by Langston Hughes, a prominent black American poet, which was translated into Persian and performed with the warm voice of the famous Iranian poet Ahmed Shamlou and accompanied by Keith. This work is an artistic hybrid that combines the sound of Chamalo and jazz music with the powerful lyrics of Hughes. Ahmed Shamlou, who is one of the prominent poets and committed to social issues, helped strengthen the voice of protest and humanity in Hughes' works by selecting and translating Hughes's poems.
