Açıklama

In "University and Revolution," Sadegh Zibakalam explores the tumultuous relationship between academia and the revolution in Iran. He delves into the reasons behind the unfortunate fate of universities during the revolution and its aftermath. One of the pivotal chapters of the book focuses on the Cultural Revolution, examining its emergence and eventual failure. Another section addresses the fundamental stagnation of humanities studies in universities, highlighting the lack of research and scientific exploration. Zibakalam raises important questions about the state of research in Iranian universities and explores the reasons behind the absence of significant academic inquiries. However, the book doesn't solely dwell on the negative aspects; it also acknowledges the positive achievements of universities post-revolution.
