Democracy or Demo Crazy Novel Seyyed Mahdi Shojaee

Açıklama

"Democracy or Demo Crazy" by Mehdi Shojaei is a witty and satirical exploration of politics and democracy. The story follows King Mamool, an ordinary ruler, who, as his reign nears its end, defies tradition by letting the people choose his successor through elections. The catch is that each king can only rule for two years before facing re-election. Mamool's death triggers a divisive period as the previously unknown sons vie for support, splintering the nation into twenty-five factions. Shojaei's intelligent and humorous narrative skillfully navigates the complexities of political absurdities. While the story maintains a light-hearted tone, it engages readers in contemplating the peculiarities of democratic processes.
