The book "Eshghal" by Sadegh Zibakalam offers a unique perspective on the occupation of the US Embassy in Iran. While many publications aim to justify the students' actions, Zibakalam takes a different approach. One of the valuable contributions of the book is the compilation of reactions to the embassy occupation. Zibakalam meticulously gathers messages from intellectuals, political figures, writers' associations, and political leaders, among others, published in various newspapers and magazines. The annex section of the book includes these collected responses, starting with the Friday prayer sermons of the late Ayatollah Montazeri and featuring the famous statement of the Iran Freedom Movement issued two days after the embassy takeover.
