Açıklama

Command and Disobedience by Hossein Dehbashi is the second volume of the Oral and Visual History of Contemporary Iran series, featuring extensive interviews with Lieutenant General Shapour Azarbarzin, a senior commander and former deputy commander of the Imperial Iranian Air Force. Through his firsthand accounts, the book explores the development and organization of Iran's air force during the Pahlavi era, military training, aircraft acquisitions, foreign advisers, intelligence operations, and the relationship between the Shah and senior military commanders. It also examines the political and military developments surrounding the final years of the monarchy and the 1979 Iranian Revolution, offering a valuable primary-source perspective on Iran's modern political and military history.
