Heidegger and Nazism Book by Victor Farías (Farsi)

Açıklama

The book Heidegger and Nazism sparked an unprecedented reaction in academic circles and the public media in Europe, with philosophers like Richard Rorty describing it as a powerful antidote against evasive defenses of Heidegger. However, the official narrative has always sought to defend him by arguing that Heidegger's connection with Nazism was temporary and unrelated to his philosophy. Farias, in this book, which is the result of more than ten years of quiet and meticulous research in archives and libraries across Europe, challenges this official narrative. He demonstrates, with documented evidence, that, Heidegger's relationship with Nazism was not limited to his tenure as rector of the University of Freiburg, but continued until the end of World War II and the defeat of Nazism.
