Khalil Maleki’s Letters Book by Homa Katouzian

Açıklama

"Khalil Maleki's Letters" by Homa Katouzian offers a candid and unvarnished portrait of Khalil Maleki through his correspondence. These letters reveal intricate details and insights about Maleki that are not found elsewhere, showcasing his psychological simplicity, unrelenting frankness, non-political candor, confidence, generosity, political flexibility, impatience, sensitivity to the 'foolishness' of others, disregard for the emotional aspects of political beliefs, dignity, financial struggles, health issues, and family matters. Such intimate revelations are familiar only to those who knew him well. This book serves two primary audiences: readers with a keen interest in the political and social history of 20th-century Iran, and researchers and historians whose work focuses on investigating the history of that era.
