Kvitleik Book by Jon Fosse (Farsi)

Açıklama

Whiteness by Jon Fosse, the Norwegian writer and Nobel Prize in Literature laureate (2023), is a short, introspective novel first published in 2023. The story is narrated by an unnamed individual who sets out on a purposeless drive along a deserted road. The journey gradually leads him onto a side road and then into a forest where snow and darkness intensify with every step. When his car becomes stuck in the mud, he abandons it and continues on foot, moving deeper into the silent, frozen landscape. From the outset, it is clear that this physical journey mirrors an inner one, as the narrator confronts isolation, fear, and existential uncertainty in a stark, minimalist narrative characteristic of Fosse’s style.
