My Life as a Fake Novel by Peter Carey (Farsi)

Açıklama

"My Life as a Fake" is a novel by Peter Carey, published in 2003. The story is loosely based on the infamous Ern Malley literary hoax that occurred in Australia in the 1940s. The novel follows the character of Christopher Chubb, an editor and poet living in contemporary Malaysia. Chubb discovers the work of Bob McCorkle, a deceased poet, and decides to publish it under his own name as a hoax. However, McCorkle's creation comes to life in the form of a mysterious and menacing figure named "Bob McCorkle." As Chubb's life becomes increasingly entangled with the fictional poet he has invented, he is forced to confront questions of identity, authenticity, and the nature of art. The novel blurs the lines between reality and fiction, exploring the power of storytelling and the consequences of deception.
