Of Men and Crabs Novel by Josue De Castro (Farsi)

Açıklama

"Of Men and Crabs" by Josue De Castro transports the reader to one of the impoverished regions surrounding Brazil, a humble area nestled in the swamps near the bustling city of Recife. This region comes to life through the resilient growth of small trees known as "sirna," creating islands adorned with vibrant marigolds. These islands become a refuge for the drought-stricken, unemployed, and escapees from cotton and sugarcane fields, all grappling with the hardships of hunger. Narrated through the eyes of a child named Zao Paulo, the story unfolds as he curiously explores the various facets of this marginalized land. Through his keen observations and by expressing the individual spirits of its inhabitants, Zao paints a multifaceted picture of this forsaken place.
