The Absent City Novel by Ricardo Piglia (Farsi)

Açıklama

"The Absent City" revolves around a journalist named Junior, who becomes involved in uncovering the mystery of a unique machine. This machine automatically tells stories and narratives from both the past and present. It is connected to the wife of one of the main characters, Elena, who died during the political repression in Argentina. After her death, she is somehow transformed into this machine, which recounts stories of oppression and resistance. Ricardo Piglia’s style in this novel is complex and postmodern. He uses multilayered and interwoven narratives, drawing the reader into a world where the true meaning must be uncovered from different stories and perspectives. Piglia also incorporates many philosophical, literary, and historical references that add depth and meaning to the book.
