The Colossus and Other Poems by Sylvia Plath (Farsi)

Açıklama

The Colossus and Other Poems is Sylvia Plath’s only poetry collection published during her lifetime, showcasing her early mastery of form, language, and psychological depth. These poems reflect her fascination with mythology, history, and personal identity, combining sharp imagery with intense introspection. In works like “The Colossus,” “Full Fathom Five,” and “The Beekeeper’s Daughter,” Plath explores themes of death, rebirth, and the complexities of female experience. The collection reveals a poet grappling with inner and outer worlds—one foot rooted in classical tradition, the other stepping into the raw honesty that would define her later work.
