The Dead Dogs Play by Jon Fosse (Farsi)

Açıklama

The Dead Dogs by Jon Fosse, one of Norway’s most acclaimed playwrights, is a collection of two haunting plays, including Faces of Death. The latter opens with a dialogue between an elderly couple, as the mother anxiously searches for her missing daughter on a dark night. Her husband, unable to bear her distress, urges her to leave. The story culminates with the daughter’s body found floating in the sea, her final words reflecting regret, longing, and the desire to live. Fosse’s minimalist style, shaped by a near-death experience in childhood, explores human vulnerability, existential tension, and the fragile bonds of family.
