The First Scientist: Anaximander and His Legacy by Carlo Rovelli (Farsi)

Açıklama

The First Scientist: Anaximander and His Legacy by Carlo Rovelli delves into the life and ideas of Anaximander, a pre-Socratic philosopher who lived in ancient Greece in the 6th century BCE. Often regarded as the first true scientist, Anaximander proposed revolutionary concepts about the cosmos, the Earth, and human existence, which laid the groundwork for modern scientific thought. Rovelli explores Anaximander’s key contributions, such as the idea of a boundless universe, the notion that the Earth floats freely in space, and his early understanding of evolution. By challenging mythological explanations of the world, Anaximander introduced a rational and systematic approach to understanding nature, setting the stage for science as we know it.
