The Foundation Pit Book by Andrei Platonov (Farsi)

Açıklama

The Foundation Pit is Andrei Platonov’s most direct political novel and a powerful reflection of one of the darkest periods in Soviet history. Set during Stalin’s aggressive industrialization and forced collectivization campaigns, the story presents a bleak and unsettling vision of revolutionary ideals and their human cost. Through stark imagery and deeply symbolic characters, Platonov delivers a courageous critique of the political and social realities of his time. His unique, transformed language—both ambiguous and poetic—captures the struggle between obedience to authority and a quiet spiritual resistance. Widely regarded as a literary masterpiece, the novel exposes the disillusionment and moral complexity hidden beneath the promises of progress and utopian change.
