Three Versions of Judas by Jorge Luis Borges (Farsi)

Açıklama

Three Versions of Judas is a fictional essay in which Borges imagines the writings of a theologian named Nils Runeberg, who proposes radical reinterpretations of the biblical figure Judas Iscariot. Through Runeberg’s evolving theories, the story explores themes of divinity, sacrifice, and betrayal, challenging conventional religious morality. Borges blends scholarly tone with fictional invention, creating a metafictional tale that questions the nature of sainthood, the limits of human understanding, and the unsettling possibility that ultimate truth may be found in contradiction.
