Açıklama

Tom Lake is a novel by Ann Patchett, a renowned American author, published in 2023. Like many of Patchett's previous works, this book delves into themes of family, love, memories, and the complexities of human relationships. The story of *Tom Lake* is set during the COVID-19 pandemic and unfolds through the recounting of past love and memories. The story centers around a middle-aged woman named Lara, who, during the quarantine, is living with her husband and their three daughters on their family farm. Given the unique circumstances of the time, Lara’s now-grown daughters, who have returned home, ask her to recount the story of her past romance with Peter Duke, a famous Hollywood actor. In her youth, when Lara was still dreaming of becoming an actress, she worked in a local theater near Tom Lake.
