Uncle’s Dream Book by Fyodor Dostoevsky (Farsi)

Açıklama

"Uncle's Dream," also known as "The Uncle's Dream" or "Uncle's Dream: A Fantastic Story," is a satirical novella written by Fyodor Dostoevsky. It was published in 1859. The story is a comedic exploration of human nature, societal expectations, and the pursuit of material success. The novella follows the character of Pavel Pavlovich Chichikov, a charming but unscrupulous opportunist, as he navigates the social circles of a provincial town. Chichikov has a peculiar scheme: he plans to buy deceased serfs, or "dead souls," from landowners to artificially inflate his social standing and wealth. This plot device allows Dostoevsky to satirize the moral and spiritual emptiness that can accompany the pursuit of social status and material gain.
