Caliban and the Witch by Silvia Federici (Farsi)

Açıklama

"Caliban and the Witch" by Silvia Federici is a groundbreaking analysis of the historical roots of capitalist society, focusing on the relationship between the rise of capitalism and the oppression of women. Federici examines the witch hunts of early modern Europe, arguing that they were a critical part of the transition from feudalism to capitalism. The book explores how these brutal persecutions were linked to the disciplining of women's bodies, the control of reproduction, and the imposition of patriarchal structures. Federici highlights the role of women in the labor force, particularly in relation to domestic and reproductive labor, and shows how their exploitation laid the foundation for the development of global capitalism. This book offers a deep reflection on the intersections of gender, labor, and capitalism.
