Emergency Exit Novel by Ignazio Silone (Farsi)

Açıklama

"Emergency Exit" is a literary work by Ignazio Silone, published in 1965, that solidified his success in Italy. Silone, an author often denied recognition in his home country due to ideological reasons, contrasts with many Western nations that warmly embrace his works. The book comprises autobiographical stories and personal reflections, sometimes presented in a non-fictional format. Originally divided into two parts, the first section consists of Silone's collection of short stories, while the second part resembles a political essay, critically analyzing his contemporary political landscape. Silone recounts a childhood memory where he follows his father to work in the fields, hoping to persuade passersby to buy cigarettes he craves.
