Mother Courage and Her Children by Bertolt Brecht (Farsi)

Açıklama

Mother Courage and Her Children by Bertolt Brecht is a powerful anti-war play that follows Anna Fierling, known as Mother Courage, a canteen-wagon vendor who attempts to profit from the chaos of the Thirty Years’ War while trying to keep her children safe. As she travels across war-torn Europe, her relentless pursuit of business leads to the gradual loss of her children, one by one, to the very conflict she relies on for survival. Through stark, episodic scenes and Brecht’s signature alienation effect, the play critiques the moral compromises of war, capitalism, and the illusion of resilience in the face of relentless violence.
