The Flies Play by Jean Paul Sartre (Farsi)

Açıklama

“The Flies” is a powerful play by Jean-Paul Sartre, first published in 1943. Adapted from the Greek myth of Electra, it tells the story of Orestes and his sister Electra as they seek revenge against their mother, Clytemnestra, and her husband, Aegisthus, for the murder of their father, Agamemnon, king of Argos. Sartre weaves existentialist themes throughout the narrative, exploring freedom, guilt, and moral responsibility. The tension between the protagonists and the gods of Argos creates a profound psychological and philosophical drama, examining human choice, accountability, and the confrontation with divine authority.
