Philosophy and the social problem Book by Will Durant (Farsi)

Açıklama

"Philosophy and the Social Problem," Will Durant's inaugural book, presents a compelling argument that philosophy has suffered a decline in reputation due to its detachment on academic grounds, preoccupation with the problem of knowledge, and a lack of practical engagement with the concerns of everyday life. Durant contends that philosophy can only justify its existence by offering practical, tangible benefits to the common person. In his view, philosophy needs to step down from its academic pedestal and actively contribute to the resolution of pressing societal issues. Durant identifies the paramount challenge of the modern world as the social problem, encompassing issues of inequality, poverty, abundance, starvation, child labor, education, and crime.
