Açıklama

The Prisoner of Second Avenue by Neil Simon is a dark comedy that follows the life of Mel Edison, a middle-aged man living in a cramped New York City apartment. Mel’s life begins to unravel as he faces a series of personal and financial crises. After losing his job, enduring a robbery, and dealing with the overwhelming noise of the city, he becomes increasingly frustrated and paranoid. His wife, Edna, tries to support him, but Mel's mental and emotional breakdowns intensify, making him feel like a "prisoner" in his own life. With Simon's trademark wit, the play explores themes of stress, urban life, and the pressures of modern society, while offering moments of humor and reflection about human resilience and relationships.
