The Ultimate Foundation of Economic Science: An Essay on Method by Ludwig von Mises (Farsi)

Açıklama

The book The Ultimate Foundation of Economic Science by Ludwig von Mises is a profound exploration of the methodological foundations of economics. Written late in Mises’ life, it emphasizes that economics is fundamentally the science of human action, or praxeology, focusing on purposeful human behavior aimed at specific goals. Mises critiques positivist approaches that model economics on the natural sciences, arguing that controlled experiments cannot capture the complexity of human decision-making. Instead, economic laws must be derived logically from the principles of human action. The book also highlights the spontaneous order of markets, emerging from countless individual decisions, and explains why central planning and economic intervention inevitably fail. Overall, it provides a rigorous defense of a deductive, human-centered approach to understanding economic phenomena.
