Açıklama

You’re Not the Kind of Girl Who Would Understand tells the story of Raha, a girl born in the 2000s who faces the twists and turns of life, social contradictions, restrictions, and unfulfilled dreams. It is an honest and heartfelt portrayal of a young woman’s confrontation with a society that often cannot—or chooses not to—understand her. Alongside Raha, her brother Keyvan plays a significant role, shaping many of her inner and outer conflicts. Through his presence, the story gains emotional depth and meaning. With simple yet deeply expressive language, the author offers an intimate and unfiltered glimpse into the lived experiences of young women in today’s Iran. Raha becomes the narrator of moments that are sometimes bitter, sometimes filled with anger, but always real—she is fearless, unstoppable, and determined to be understood, to be heard, and to keep moving forward.
