Kar Kokusu Book by Ahmet Ümit (Farsi)

Açıklama

Kar Kokusu by Ahmet Ümit is a poetic, bitter, and thought-provoking novel set in 1980s Turkey, against the backdrop of political oppression following the military coup. The story follows a group of young Turkish leftists who flee to the Soviet Union to study Marxist ideology and pursue their revolutionary dreams. Amidst exile and idealism, a mysterious murder shatters trust and sparks fear, suspicion, and betrayal among the group. Narrated by a woman revisiting these frozen memories years later, the novel explores love, ideology, and the chilling tension between loyalty and treachery, where the harsh winter mirrors the fragility of both ideals and hearts.
