The Miser play by Molière (Farsi)

Açıklama

The Miser by Molière is a comedic play first performed in 1668. The story follows Harpagon, a lively yet obsessively greedy old man who hoards his money and controls the lives of his two children, Élise and Cléante. Élise loves a charming young man named Valère, who hides his noble origins by working as a servant, while both Cléante and Harpagon fall in love with the same woman, Mariane. Meanwhile, servants and tricksters plot to outsmart the miser and get their hands on his fortune. With its brilliant humor, memorable twists, and sharp social satire, The Miser stands as one of Molière’s most enduring masterpieces, exposing the absurdity of greed and the follies of human nature.
